1.Hi Isohel, where did this name come from?
Isohel literally means "a line on a map connecting points having the same duration of the sun". This meaning is within myself so much that I made it my stage name.
2. Does your project represent something? If you do, please explain to us.
It is a very personal project. Each track is the reflection of my person and my thoughts. For me it's an outlet, I feel I can say everything through music, as if I were talking to a close person.
3. What would you categorize your music as for genres?
Chill pop with some lofi shades inside.
4. How do you get inspired?
In most cases, the night. Seniors have always said "the night brings advice", well it's the truth. Just think that my single "Not Alright" came out in one night. I don't know why, but it makes me feel more sensitive towards everything.
5. What projects inspired your musical career?
Certainly the greatest influence of my songs is due to EDEN. His music has accompanied me throughout my adolescence, so I owe him everything. In fact, my stage name is a tribute to him.
6. What motivates you to do this?
Surely the first thing is passion, I love what I do. The second thing is people who like my music, the fact they find themselves on my tracks makes me feel good.
7. How do you write lyrics? And what topic do you seem to be writing the most about?
I have a somewhat unusual method (I think). Once the base is produced, I start doing a sort of melodic freestyle while recording to the microphone. The first melody that comes to me at the moment, in most cases, remains that. After deciding the melodies, I start writing the lyrics adapting it.
8. What instruments have you used in your project?
Guitar, piano, Launchpad for drums and Ableton to mix everything.
9. Which is best concert you've ever been to?
Certainly the Blackbear concert. It was phenomenal. He also accompanied me throughout the adolescence with his music.
10. Got any names for other fresh new artists that would be up for an interview?
Keep your eyes on Brakence before it's too late. It is growing very fast, rightly so. His music is unique, there is no one like his, I say it sincerely. The sounds, the melodies. They give me beautiful sensations.
11. If you were to choose only three types of food to eat on tour, what would you pick?
Mhh, I think pizza, sushi and pasta. If I ever go on tour I will let you know about it ahaha.
12. You can give a shoutout to whoever you want.
I greet all the people who support me, my friends and my family. I also greet the insomnia guys and thank you for the interview! See you next time!
